In life, a good conscience will not get people farther than money, fame, or power. Therefore it is not a more powerful motivator. A good conscience is the more moral motivator, but when it all comes down to it, a good conscience can not give people what they need in life. Money, fame, and power can give anyone everything you can ever need and want in life.
A good conscienece can not buy anyone a house. If someone had money, they could buy themself a house. People will not just give anyone a house just because they have a good conscience. Money can get people a car, food, a place to live, clothes and anything else if they have enough money for it. I would rather do something wrong to get alot of money, rather than do what I know is right an not get any money. Without money someone would die because they could not pay for the necessities of life.
People who are famous get whatever they want in life, and they have a lot of people who like them and look up to them. I do not see why anyone would choose a conscience mind over that. They get clothes for free, sometimes a free place to live, free things for their houses, and alot of money. Fame would motivate me more than a good conscience. Thats why if I could do somthing really wrong to get famous, I would do it. When you get famous, it can open many doors for you such as owning clothing lines, being in movies, and being loved by everyone.
If someone has enough power, they can do whatever they want. A good conscience can not give you that ability. I believe power is the better motivator than a good conscience because even if someone know somethings wrong, and they choose to do the wrong thing, nobody can anything becasue they have all of the power. If someone has all of the power, they make all of the rules and do what they want.
